Technical Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver production support and automation for financial services operational processes.

• Organize and produce EASY applications adhering to regulatory standards and client SLAs.

• Conduct technical triage to identify root causes and implement solutions within SLAs.

• Act as a liaison between Systems Application Support and EASY development teams concerning software defects and their severity/impact.

• Develop, schedule, and oversee back-end applications utilizing CA Workload Automation/AutoSys.

• Address service ticket requests from business users, developers, and clients.

• Lead or assist in strategic initiatives aimed at mitigating back-end application challenges and enhancing process automation.

• Oversee EASY Workload Automation and monitor the performance of back-end processes.

• Alleviate program failures and report major system issues.

• Investigate failures using the EASY code base and associated databases.

• Convey production issues and risks to development teams.

• Collaborate with counterparts in Bangalore and adjust schedules as needed for production continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, such as Information Systems, Mathematics, or Software Engineering.

• At least 4 years of experience in providing production support for back-end transactional processing systems.

• 3 years of experience in configuring and monitoring program execution within a workload automation tool.

• 3 years of experience delivering technical support for enterprise software in a customer-facing capacity.

• Familiarity with technical troubleshooting methods.

• Knowledge of workload automation systems.

• Proficiency in UNIX, including shell scripting with C/Korn and Perl.

• Understanding of back-end system processing, databases, and programs.

• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

• Capability to analyze trends in system issues and propose solutions or mitigations.

• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in efficiently troubleshooting system-critical program failures.

• Skill in writing user-friendly explanations of technical functionalities.

• Willingness to work alternate schedules as production continuity necessitates.

• Reliable high-speed fiber, cable, or DSL internet with a wired connection for remote work.
