Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for overseeing procurement, logistics, sales, and finance operations.

• Ensure timely availability of goods at designated locations.

• Oversee daily operations encompassing ordering, production, transportation, warehousing, and retail replenishment to online fulfillment.

• Develop scalable processes, systems, and partner networks across various countries, retailers, and channels.

• Take ownership of forecasting and ordering across all distribution channels.

• Manage relationships with manufacturers while balancing product availability and working capital.

• Oversee freight, customs clearance, retail warehouses, online fulfillment, and Amazon FBA operations.

• Design the logistics and fulfillment framework for Europe, focusing on cost-efficiency, service quality, and error reduction.

• Ensure dependable supply to retailers, managing call-offs, delivery schedules, displays, and addressing complaints.

• Establish processes, KPIs, and tools for operational efficiency.

• Develop customer operations tools, processes, and policies to enhance goodwill.

• Convert recurring customer feedback into actionable improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics with a focus on physical products.

• Proven track record of managing goods, orders, inventory, or product availability.

• Strong understanding of the relationships between forecasting, procurement, production, working capital, transportation, and sales.

• Experience collaborating with 3PLs and freight forwarders; international sourcing and retail supply experience is preferred.

• Ability to streamline unstructured processes into clear, scalable systems and document them effectively.

• Proactive problem-solving attitude with a strong sense of ownership.

• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.

• A master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is advantageous, but not mandatory.
