This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the product lineup and effectively communicate technical differentiators and competitive positioning.
• Gather technical information pertaining to market and customer needs.
• Collaborate with Product Management to enhance products and introduce them into new markets.
• Assist in the development of design guides, troubleshooting manuals, evaluation guides, application notes, technical white papers, presentations, videos, and demonstrations for IoT solutions and products.
• Develop, update, and present technical marketing materials including presentations, datasheets, and case studies.
• Create product demonstrations that emphasize key product benefits to boost market penetration of new technologies and features.
• Partner with customers and collaborators on feature comparisons, benchmarking, and the development of demonstration setups.
• Provide engineering insights on feature improvements and bug resolutions.
• Assist with outbound customer and field engagements, including technical workshops and product demonstrations.
• Establish and maintain demonstration environments for IoT solutions and products.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives and travel for field and marketing activities.
• Assist with product launches and participate in tradeshows, conferences, technical sales training, workshops, and channel partner training.
• Address customer or field inquiries and support technical RFPs.
• Work collaboratively with BDMs, Product Managers, Engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
• Conduct market and competitive research alongside the Product Management Team.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Uphold quality system standards.
• Adhere to and enforce company policies and regulations.
• Strategic technical mindset coupled with a solid understanding of business principles.
• Awareness of deadlines and adaptability to shifting priorities.
• Significant customer and field experience with IoT products is essential.
• Proficient in both written and oral communication in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Experience in customer-focused Sales Engineering is required.
• Desired qualifications include software development experience and/or capabilities.
• Motivated, with an entrepreneurial attitude and a strong sense of urgency; resourceful and proactive.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possessing a strong level of integrity.
• A collaborative team player who excels in teamwork situations.
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with all teams within the organization.
• A University Degree and/or prior Applications Engineering experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Wireless Communications Systems, or Computer Engineering is highly preferred.
• Experience in Wireless Technology is highly desirable, including Cellular Networks (2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G), LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi (802.11 standards), or Bluetooth/BLE.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to use hands for handling or feeling tasks.
• Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Travel is necessary to support field and marketing activities.
• Engage in product launch activities, tradeshows, conferences, and technical sales training/workshops or channel partner training events.
