This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and oversee the entire Record-to-Report operations process.
• Supervise general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany accounts, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reviews, period-end closure, and financial reporting.
• Ensure that activities are completed accurately and promptly within established timelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Track operational performance, identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures.
• Enhance close timelines, process precision, and operational productivity.
• Manage a sizable RTR team, including Managers, Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Set performance standards and oversee team performance.
• Cultivate talent through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and skill development.
• Oversee staffing, workload allocation, and resource efficiency.
• Serve as a senior liaison for client stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Facilitate governance meetings and report on performance, risks, enhancements, and transformation opportunities.
• Handle escalations and resolve critical issues effectively.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, SOX regulations, and client-specific controls.
• Identify control deficiencies and operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring audit observations are addressed.
• Lead initiatives for process simplification, standardization, automation, digitization, Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Automation, Technology, and Transformation teams on RPA, workflow automation, AI, and analytics solutions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including SLA compliance, closure timelines, journal entry accuracy, reconciliation aging, quality, productivity, backlog, and customer satisfaction.
• Aid in workforce planning, capacity management, budgeting, and productivity initiatives.
• Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization.
• CA / CA Inter / CMA qualification.
• 5–7 years of experience post-qualification.
• Experience in team management is essential.
• Candidates must be located in Mumbai.
• Willingness to work from the office in Mumbai–Thane is required.
• Must be available to work US shifts from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
• Full-time employment.
