Technical IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take the lead on IT projects from both a technical and organizational standpoint throughout their full lifecycle.

• Perform on-site evaluations, strategize, and execute projects while ensuring successful outcomes.

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including resource allocation, oversight, and budget management.

• Collaborate closely with internal expert teams and effectively assign tasks.

• Generate effort estimates and carry out assessments of technical feasibility.

• Develop project plans, technical documentation, and presentations.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, including C-level executives, and handle escalations.

• Actively participate in technical implementation and contribute to the ongoing refinement of standards.

• Enhance projects and organizational frameworks further.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing technical projects or subprojects, preferably within an IT systems integrator or IT services setting.

• Proven track record of independently steering and delivering IT projects, including budget oversight.

• Strong practical experience in IT support / second-level support and hands-on project execution.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures, including Windows Server, virtualization, Microsoft 365, identity, and collaboration solutions.

• Practical familiarity with cloud solutions and contemporary IT architectures.

• Knowledge in networking and IT security is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication abilities, a proactive mindset, and an independent, responsible approach to work.

• Proficient use of ticketing systems and project management tools.
