This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for SmartReports implementations across the EMEA region, from the initial discovery phase and solution design to configuration, integration, testing, go-live, and hypercare support.
• Collaborate and document the solution design in coordination with integration architects and engineers, addressing aspects such as integration architecture, interface decisions, and configuration options.
• Oversee technical workstreams with hospital IT, focusing on HL7/RIS/PACS integration topics, as well as network and security requirements, and deployment inquiries.
• Manage relationships with external technology and channel partners, ensuring timely delivery that relies on third-party inputs.
• Identify and escalate implementation challenges, generate comprehensive Engineering tickets, monitor their resolution, and keep customers updated.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, facilitating status calls, managing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining decision logs at the executive level.
• Ensure smooth transitions of implementations into operational phases through organized handovers to Customer Support, thorough documentation, and readiness checkpoints.
• Contribute to the internal knowledge base to ensure that implementation insights are shared and leveraged across various projects.
• A number of years of project management experience in delivering enterprise software or healthcare IT implementations.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM, Business Informatics, IT, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong technical understanding of HL7 interfaces, RIS/PACS environments, and the constraints present in hospital IT.
• Capability to bridge communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Established ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
• Strong documentation skills, including writing solution design documents, status updates, decision logs, and tickets.
• Excellent proficiency in English communication.
• Professional-level German language skills are highly preferred for the DACH customer base.
• Familiarity with medical/radiology terminology and clinical workflows is an advantage.
• Awareness of regulated environments, such as medical device software and GDPR compliance, is beneficial.
• Experience with Jira-based project delivery and phase-gate methodologies.
• Background in speech recognition, structured reporting, or AI-assisted clinical documentation is a plus.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time.
