This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee various medium to large-scale IT and clinical system projects from start to finish.
• Define and control project scope, timelines, resources, and financials.
• Create essential project documentation including Charter, Project Plan, Budget Tracker, RACI, status reports, and materials for steering committees.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders across different locations.
• Proactively identify dependencies, risks, and issues; formulate mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Keep documentation up-to-date to ensure audit readiness and adherence to PMO standards.
• Guarantee user training, preparedness, and proficiency prior to go-live.
• Collaborate with IS training teams and vendors to develop technical and user documentation.
• Regularly report project updates and deliverables to executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Over 6 years of experience in leading IT and clinical project implementations.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects involving Epic or Meditech clinical systems.
• Required experience with Epic OpTime, Cupid, and Radiant implementations within multi-hospital settings.
• Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Extensive experience in project management.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in large, complex healthcare systems is greatly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Full-time contract.
