Technical Field Service Engineer – M/F

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customers in PCB and advanced semiconductor packaging to recognize technical issues and provide plating and metallization solutions.

• Serve as a trusted resource for engineers, technical leaders, influencers, and decision-makers.

• Assist customers with process installation, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement both on-site and remotely.

• Gather customer technology roadmaps and market trends to influence innovation and product development.

• Work alongside R&D, Applications, Quality, Customer Service, and Commercial teams.

• Lead technical discussions, conduct customer presentations, and facilitate training sessions.

• Keep track of industry advancements, emerging technologies, competitive actions, and market prospects.

• Cultivate customer relationships and impact technical decisions throughout the EMEA region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field.

• Multiple years of experience in PCB manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, or similar industries.

• Extensive knowledge in PCB plating, metallization, or surface finishing technologies.

• Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities in English.

• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the EMEA region around 30-50% of the time.

• Strong initiative, accountability, and a customer-centric approach.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with Advanced Packaging, Assembly & Test technologies.

• Background in supporting prominent semiconductor customers.

• Proficiency in additional languages such as German and/or French.
