This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products within the designated territory.
• Ensure compliance with service agreements and exceed warranty commitments.
• Provide technical assistance to end-users and Intuitive staff.
• Conduct training sessions at Intuitive facilities, training centers, and hospitals.
• Execute system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades.
• Diagnose and repair Intuitive products and related equipment.
• Coordinate and carry out system and hardware delivery and installation.
• Document service activities, maintain records, and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Complete administrative duties including spare parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, and expense reports.
• Maintain company-issued tools, vehicles, laptops, iPads, and other assets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Genesis, and other Intuitive teams.
• Provide feedback to headquarters and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage customer requirements, system install-base configurations, customer contacts, training, and events within the assigned territory.
• Present management with quarterly reviews and evaluations of the assigned area.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
• Capability to identify, analyze, and efficiently resolve technical issues.
• Strong skills in time management and prioritization.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Openness to performing ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
• Reside within a reasonable distance, generally within 30 miles, of the assigned territory location.
• Flexibility to work a flex shift, second shift, or other shifts as required.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. and move wheeled objects weighing up to 1,200 lbs.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Vendor Credentialing approval for access to operating rooms.
• Compliance with vaccination mandates as required by the vendor credentialing process.
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• General computer literacy.
• Comfortable working non-standard hours with limited support.
• Exceptional administrative and record-keeping abilities.
• 1–3 years of field service experience preferred.
• An Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of and adherence to O.R. protocol and HIPAA standards.
• Remote work; employees are required to come onsite when requested by their leader.
