Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Service, repair, and maintain materials handling equipment.

• Diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and engine systems.

• Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse client base.

• Manage your own workload while keeping precise service records.

• Install or commission new machinery as required.

• Assist customers in maintaining safe, reliable, and productive operations.

• Work independently within a home-based, local field-service territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in mechanical engineering with some electrical expertise.

• Experience with mobile machinery or similar equipment.

• Possession of a valid UK driving licence.

• Practical understanding of electrical drive and control systems.

• Practical knowledge of diesel and LPG engines.

• Familiarity with hydraulic systems.

• Experience with computer-based diagnostics.

• Background in automotive, HGV, LGV, PSV, plant, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, REME, roadside recovery, forklift/materials handling, or field service is advantageous.

• Ability to work remotely covering a local radius within the Leicester, Derby, and Nottingham region.
