This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Install, troubleshoot, and provide technical maintenance for product and component hardware and software, primarily at customer locations.
• Conduct scheduled inspections, cleaning, and other related services.
• Execute minor repairs on products within a designated territory.
• Assess products for proper functionality and address or escalate issues in accordance with established protocols.
• Arrange services, complete necessary documentation, and collaborate with customers to guarantee satisfaction and understanding of the products.
• Diagnose hardware and software issues using diagnostic instruments.
• Carry out component-level hardware repairs.
• Clean and calibrate mechanical components.
• Set up and install relevant software.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Replenish consumables as instructed.
• Install, relocate, add, modify, and remove hardware and software products.
• Educate customers on the usage and operation of installed hardware and software.
• Engage in training for hardware and software, KPI initiatives, and special projects.
• Required education or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience or a comparable combination of education and experience in Field Services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets DN's fleet standards.
• Proficient in PC usage and knowledgeable about relevant tools and techniques.
• Capability to lift and transport heavy items, stand for extended periods, and maneuver while working on equipment.
• Willingness to work in outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to adapt to shifts, including participation in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to organize and manage truck inventory of parts and tools.
• A sense of urgency, strong organizational abilities, professional demeanor, and a collaborative spirit.
• Capability to pass Motor Vehicle Record and background checks as necessary.
• Preferred knowledge of industry products and basic ITIL skills.
• Previous experience as a Firstline Service Technician is advantageous.
• Completion of Vocational/Trade School is preferred.
