This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver technical customer service and support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated bagging and palletizing systems.
• Assist clients in person, via phone, or through email communication.
• Address service requests and troubleshoot issues both on-site and remotely.
• Provide education and training to customers regarding equipment and safety features.
• Oversee local electricians, assemblers, and welding staff during the installation process.
• Ensure proper and safe functionality of the equipment.
• Conduct tests on local inputs and outputs, devices, control interlocks, and alarms.
• Complete service trips in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to the designated time constraints.
• Assist sales representatives by providing technical information, upgrade suggestions, and parts recommendations.
• Finalize job and expense reports accurately.
• Document project status, on-site modifications, safety concerns, processes, procedures, and feedback from service manuals.
• Utilize SugarCRM for managing customer relationships, solutions, service trip reports, tasks, and status updates.
• Address internal and external customer service needs while communicating any unmet expectations.
• Offer after-hours technical support as required.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional team activities.
• Keep professional and technical knowledge up to date through networking, societies, workshops, and publications.
• Contribute to team efforts and undertake additional assigned responsibilities.
• High School diploma or GED is essential.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with SugarCRM.
• Skills in PLC troubleshooting, including program editing and network connections.
• Specific expertise in RSLogix and Compact Logix.
• Knowledge of ControlLogix (PLC programming).
• Familiarity with PanelView and Panelmate systems.
• Understanding of Motion Control systems.
• Strong electrical knowledge and systematic troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent technical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
• Valid Driver’s License with a driving record that does not classify as high risk.
• Capability to travel to and from airports and/or customer locations using a personal, leased, or rental vehicle.
• Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently, up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
