Technical Field Engineer – International Commissioning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Commissioning and further enhancement of specialized systems within the dosing technology sector, emphasizing the DACH region and Europe.

• Providing subsequent remote assistance for the respective systems in collaboration with external specialist firms.

• Optimizing control systems for improved performance at customer locations while offering advisory support.

• Overseeing small to medium-sized projects in the pertinent area.

• Assisting the sales team with specific client requirements.

• Creating control diagrams and assessing specifications.

• Drafting requirements specifications for control system expansions to be executed by external partners.

• Performing acceptance tests with suppliers.

• Coordinating internal trials to enhance specialized systems.

• Testing loaner machines returned from clients to confirm operational readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical qualification in electrical or automation engineering.

• Professional experience in the design and commissioning of small to medium-sized special-purpose machines.

• Proficiency in programming PLCs utilizing TIA Portal.

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell is a plus.

• Experience in providing remote support.

• Strong understanding of standard safety technologies in machine and plant engineering.

• Knowledge of control engineering is advantageous.

• Customer-focused attitude.

• Capability to work autonomously and adhere to deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

• Willingness to travel when necessary, primarily within the DACH region and Europe.

• Proficient technical English skills.
