This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Install, troubleshoot, and provide technical maintenance for product and component hardware and software, primarily at customer locations.
• Conduct scheduled inspections, perform cleaning, handle minor repairs, and execute preventive maintenance within a designated area.
• Assess products for proper functionality, address issues, and escalate according to defined procedures.
• Arrange service appointments, complete necessary documentation, and ensure customer satisfaction along with a clear understanding of product operation.
• Diagnose hardware and software malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Carry out component-level hardware repairs and make adjustments to mechanical parts.
• Set up and install relevant software as required.
• Replenish consumables as instructed.
• Install, relocate, modify, and decommission hardware and software products.
• Educate customers on the operation and usage of installed hardware and software.
• Engage in hardware and software training, KPI implementation, and special projects.
• Educational qualifications or equivalent professional experience required.
• At least 1–2 years of pertinent Field Services experience or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets DN's fleet criteria.
• Proficiency in PC usage along with knowledge of relevant tools and methods.
• Familiarity with industry-specific products and basic ITIL knowledge is preferred.
• Willingness to attend training sessions in Canton, Ohio for 1–2 weeks.
• Capability to lift and transport heavy items, remain standing for most of the day, and perform activities such as climbing, bending, and stooping while working on equipment.
• Acceptance of potential exposure to outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility in shift patterns, including participation in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Competence in organizing and managing truck stock parts and tools.
• Strong sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional demeanor, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to pass MVR, background checks, and drug screenings where applicable.
• Experience as a Firstline Service Technician is preferred.
• Vocational or Trade School education is desirable.
