This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee customer service and provide care for clients directly.
• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed cash-handling equipment independently.
• Manage and track parts and tools effectively.
• Stay updated on technical and functional modifications related to GLORY equipment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction across all interactions.
• Identify system issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Keep customers informed about maintenance progress or system downtime.
• Execute machine installations, Engineering Change Notices, system upgrades, and hardware/software enhancements.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and policies at all times.
• Complete mandatory Environmental Health & Safety training.
• Report any job-site accidents involving injury or property damage promptly.
• Report directly to the District Service Manager.
• Travel frequently to customer locations throughout Marion and surrounding areas.
• Currently pursuing or have completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience.
• Preferred certifications in related areas such as mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficient in using personal computers, Microsoft Office, network navigation, and email communication.
• Logical troubleshooting skills with the capability to isolate issues at the PCB or component level.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry.
• Experience in repairing high-speed paper-handling machines is preferred; experience with ATMs or copiers is also desirable.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in technical field service repair is preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, and frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist.
• Willingness to work at customer sites, including financial institutions, casinos, truck stops, recreational parks, and retail stores.
• Availability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotating schedule.
• Must be available for on-call rotation, typically every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to travel to customer sites during work hours.
• Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including air and overnight trips.
• Capacity to manage limited accessibility at job sites.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must reside within the assigned territory or be willing to relocate; note that relocation assistance is not available.
