This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Deliver customer service solutions for the installation and validation of new systems.
• Conduct both planned and corrective maintenance for installed systems.
• Enhance system utilization and assist in lifecycle management activities for Advanced Sterilization Products systems.
• Collaborate with sales and clinical education teams to provide business solutions and maintain the installed base.
• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify ASP systems within the designated territory.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective measures.
• Complete compliance documentation along with daily performance and maintenance records for equipment.
• Coordinate work schedules with leadership, customers, and scheduling staff.
• Develop project plans for the installation of new equipment.
• Manage customer expectations and offer regular guidance to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee personal trunk inventory and complete necessary audits.
• Provide recommendations for design improvements related to efficiency, quality, and operating costs.
• Perform additional assigned duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in technical troubleshooting and 1 year in customer service; or 2 years of post-secondary technical education plus 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred post-secondary degree or certification in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
• Preferred 2 years of customer support experience.
• Preferred experience in field service, biomedical hospital support, or related industries such as medical devices.
• Preferred Microsoft A+ certification or equivalent in computer hardware.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and technical learning capabilities.
• Proficient in using and quickly learning Outlook, Excel, and Salesforce.
• Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize schedules autonomously and manage shifting priorities.
• Preferred knowledge of computer networking, electronics, and basic electrical concepts.
• Familiarity with test equipment is preferred.
• Understanding of business practices, processes, territory management, and parts inventory costs is preferred.
• Willingness to travel during the workday to hospital/surgery center environments.
• Ability to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally.
• Capability to lift 80 pounds to a height of four feet.
• Ability to operate company vehicles and drive/sit for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record in compliance with Company policy.
• Relocation over 50 miles from the job posting location requires manager pre-approval.
