Technical Engineer – Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions.

• Provide general monitoring and support for production environments.

• Achieve defined scope, target dates, and budgets while minimizing defects.

• Collaborate with IT, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.

• Monitor progress against production schedules, provide updates, and report any issues or technical challenges to leadership.

• Document technical processes and procedures thoroughly.

• Participate in technical reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Work with architecture teams on solution design and implementation to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives and standards.

• Perform technical analysis and offer insights to support decision-making across departments.

• Stay updated with relevant technologies and industry best practices.

• Adopt, expand, maintain, and optimize cloud usage throughout the organization.

• Engineer cloud solutions, automation builds, and related technologies.

• Support next-generation cloud technologies and remain informed about new cloud offerings.

• Execute other duties as assigned or requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions, along with production support.

• At least 3 years of experience in technical problem-solving, solution implementation, and team/project collaboration.

• 3 years of familiarity with basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, and development languages/scripting.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

• Proven ability to achieve ambitious goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to diverse tasks and changing organizational requirements.

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.

• Willingness and capability to learn new technologies as needed.

• Comfort with a variety of data tools and technologies, along with a desire to acquire new skills.

• Track record of designing, implementing, and/or supporting large-scale technical solutions.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team settings.

• Preferred: 5 years of experience with technology platforms, application development tools, enterprise business processes, and the software development life cycle.

• Preferred: 5 years of experience in defining system architectures and assessing technical feasibility trade-offs.

• Preferred: 5 years of designing or developing technology solutions in the healthcare sector.

• Preferred: 5 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their services.

• Preferred: 5 years of applying technical governance, quality, and technical security best practices.

• Preferred: 5 years of translating requirements, mockups, prototypes, or user stories into technical designs.

• Preferred: 5 years of producing fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions.

• No mandatory licenses or certifications required.

• No additional languages besides English are required.

• Must adhere to HIPAA, data security guidelines, privacy policies, the company code of business conduct, and applicable laws, regulations, and training requirements.

• Base salary range of $79,300.00–$127,100.00 per year.
