Oracle Cloud Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate interface specifications, payloads, APIs, file formats, mappings, transformations, validations, and orchestration procedures.

• Set up or create approved Oracle Integration Cloud components, reusable routines, validation rules, error messages, and exception-handling logic.

• Collaborate with Oracle Fusion Cloud integration surfaces, including REST and SOAP web services, ERP Integration Service, FBDI, and business events.

• Adhere to coding, naming, version control, security, logging, and deployment standards.

• Assist with the Azure and Snowflake posting path into the Oracle general ledger, ensuring reconciliation evidence is provided.

• Validate build estimates, technical dependencies, reusable components, and development sequencing.

• Design and support BI Publisher and OTBI reports and data extracts.

• Create and uphold upgrade-safe Fusion Cloud extensions and personalizations.

• Set up and maintain Fusion security elements, including role design support, data access sets, and segregation of duties.

• Write and maintain SQL and PL/SQL for profiling, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting purposes.

• Implement integration security measures using OAuth, certificates, service accounts, keys, wallets, and credentials.

• Maintain technical design documentation.

• Prepare test data and scripts for normal, negative, duplicate, retry, recovery, security, volume, and reconciliation test scenarios.

• Conduct unit, system integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, and recovery testing.

• Reconcile test outcomes and secure acceptance from business data owners.

• Investigate defects, execute fixes, retest, and resolve issues with supporting documentation.

• Assist with production deployment, cutover, smoke testing, monitoring, and stabilization efforts.

• Transfer configuration and technical objects between environments.

• Create code documentation, deployment instructions, operating procedures, troubleshooting guidance, and support runbooks.

• Facilitate knowledge transition and onboarding for the managed support partner.

• Offer in-house technical support for retained integration and infrastructure scope.

• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, error queues, and replay mechanisms.

• Provide active support during hypercare, month-end close, and year-end processes.

• Collaborate with the Oracle Cloud Technical Architect, functional leads, systems integrator, security and enterprise architecture teams, and managed support partner.

• Report directly to the Director of Oracle Solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including at least one full implementation lifecycle through cutover and hypercare.

• Strong, current, hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud development experience encompassing orchestrations, adapters, mappings, fault handling, and scheduling.

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud web services and integration patterns, including REST and SOAP APIs, ERP Integration Service, file-based data import, and business events.

• Experience in report development with BI Publisher and OTBI, including data model design and performance optimization of high-volume extracts.

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, alongside scripting in Python, shell, or a comparable language for data profiling, validation, and reconciliation tasks.

• Experience in creating Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions and personalizations that are upgrade-safe throughout the quarterly update cycle.

• Practical knowledge of integration security, including OAuth and certificate-based authentication, service accounts, and credential and wallet management.

• Proven testing discipline across unit, system integration, regression, negative-path, and recovery scenarios, with documentation retained to an audit-compliant standard.

• Capable of producing clear technical design documentation and support runbooks, and reviewing specifications created by partner and vendor teams.

• Comfortable operating in a program environment with a systems integrator, multiple partners, and established phase gates.

• Clear and direct communicator, proficient in collaborating with functional leads, business stakeholders, and technical counterparts from other organizations.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in English (written and spoken), as it is the primary language used.

• Preferred assets include experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, FBDI/HDL data conversions, high-volume transactional integration, Oracle EPM Cloud, Oracle certifications, managed support or AMS models, and DevOps practices.
