Technical Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead and inspire client technical teams effectively by providing technical guidance for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of modern data platforms.

• Stay updated on current modern data technologies to mentor, collaborate with team members, and communicate best practices and enhancements to clients.

• Work alongside technical teams to develop Epics, Stories, and Tasks aimed at advancing and refining clients’ data platforms.

• Delegate responsibilities and mentor Architects and Engineers to ensure the successful and timely completion of Epics.

• Provide delivery leadership for multiple customer accounts concurrently, ensuring high-quality client services within established timelines and budgets.

• Build relationships with sponsors and stakeholders, communicate updates and anticipated outcomes, facilitate leadership discussions, and identify new business opportunities.

• Ensure teams are well-trained and equipped for delivery, maintain accurate process documentation, and manage communications effectively.

• Manage staffing levels and balance delivery between teams in the US and India to facilitate successful transitions and continuous service delivery.

• Engage in major incident response, which includes communication, escalation, staffing, and addressing coverage gaps.

• Enhance services through process improvements, knowledge sharing, and the development of accelerators.

• Advocate for the company's core values while fostering accountability and responsibility within delivery teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Management, IT Architecture, Customer Relationship Management, Project Management, and/or Delivery Management.

• A strong passion and curiosity for acquiring new technologies and skills.

• Understanding of technological trends and the ability to leverage them to formulate a business strategy.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

• Technical expertise in deploying and managing various cloud/data technologies, including Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, Fivetran, Qlik, Matillion, DBT, StreamSets, Airflow, NiFi, Cloudera, EMR, and Databricks.

• Enthusiasm for leading a technical operations team through numerous large or complex projects while mentoring team members.

• Proven experience in scoping activities for large-scale, complex technology infrastructure projects.

• Experience managing Incident and Escalation processes to ensure effective communication and coordination during major incidents between technical teams, end-users, and customer stakeholders until resolution, root cause analysis, and remediation are achieved.

• Prior experience collaborating directly with global clients and business partners.

• Confidence, exceptional communication skills, and customer relationship management capabilities for leading discussions with customer stakeholders at the director and VP levels through face-to-face interactions, written communication, and formal presentations.

• Experience coordinating with technical teams overseeing IT infrastructure services or Modern Data Platforms for multiple clients of varying sizes.
