This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial customer engagement and proposal formulation to delivery, testing, acceptance, and handover.
• Aid in crafting technical proposals and outlining delivery strategies during sales and tender processes.
• Contribute to the preparation of Statements of Work and other documentation related to projects.
• Oversee the technical execution of enterprise software deployments within customer settings.
• Organize software deployment, configuration, testing, and activities to ensure technical readiness.
• Engage directly with clients to comprehend their environments, relay progress, and manage technical expectations.
• Detect and address software, infrastructure, operating system, network, and integration challenges during the deployment phase.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Tendering, and Support teams.
• Provide technical progress updates, including risks and issues, to the broader project team.
• Assist in managing scope, risks, and problems alongside the Project Manager.
• Facilitate customer training, system walkthroughs, and user readiness initiatives.
• Participate in customer acceptance testing and validation/sign-off processes.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of delivery methods, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Aid in the transition to maintenance and support teams upon project completion.
• Act as an escalation point for maintenance and support teams.
• Travel internationally, including short-notice travel, to meet clients and assist with on-site deployments and issue resolution, up to 20%.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, such as Computer Science, IT Networking, or Software Development, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience with software delivery projects utilizing Linux, Windows, and other technologies pertinent to grid software.
• Familiarity with grid software including WAMS, EMS, DMS, DERMS, or similar platforms.
• Experience in direct customer engagement within a technical delivery, deployment, or support context.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong aptitude for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Willingness and ability to travel globally, occasionally on short notice.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
