This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of the squad roadmap and manage the prioritized backlog.
• Define, enhance, and prioritize user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and technical leads to set sprint priorities.
• Engage in backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Ensure work items are clearly defined, measurable, and aligned with Infrastructure portfolio priorities.
• Balance the work on new features, technical debt, operational improvements, support requirements, and modernization efforts.
• Aid in executing the broader Infrastructure portfolio roadmap.
• Translate portfolio priorities into squad-level deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Manage dependencies across CloudOps, SRE, DBA, DevOps, Security, and Frontline teams.
• Monitor milestones, risks, blockers, and delivery commitments for assigned initiatives.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual planning activities by providing squad-level insights and visibility.
• Work in collaboration with Infrastructure leadership to grasp priorities, constraints, and expected outcomes.
• Partner with technical teams to transform business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Communicate updates on progress, risks, trade-offs, and delivery to stakeholders.
• Facilitate prioritization discussions that consider business objectives, impact, technical risk, operational stability, regulatory requirements, and engineering capacity.
• Foster alignment between delivery teams, operational teams, product stakeholders, and Infrastructure leadership.
• Utilize operational data and metrics to guide prioritization and decision-making.
• Assist in initiatives related to reliability, availability, performance, cloud cost management, security, compliance, automation, and platform modernization.
• Enhance visibility into squad activities, delivery progress, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, minimize operational friction, and enhance delivery predictability.
• Ensure initiatives are executed with a clear scope, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
• Track delivery progress and assist in removing obstacles that hinder execution.
• Support release planning, change management, and communication with stakeholders.
• Validate completed work against intended business, technical, and operational goals.
• Facilitate strategic decision-making by presenting clear options, recommendations, and their associated impacts.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Technical Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SaaS or cloud-native settings.
• Experience collaborating with Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Security, or DBA teams.
• Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing backlogs and prioritizing tasks in Jira or comparable tools.
• Capability to translate technical concepts into business value and actionable requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Understanding of observability, monitoring, incident management, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and infrastructure cost optimization.
• Experience supporting initiatives related to security, compliance, automation, and modernization.
• Program Management Certifications are preferred (PMP, PgMP, Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
