Senior IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of high-profile, complex, and ambiguous IT projects prioritized by executives.

• Identify strategies to improve project management capabilities and processes.

• Direct intricate projects that involve cross-functional teams and matrixed partners.

• Lead the launch of products and services, application development, systems integration, enhancements in operational efficiency, process reengineering, as well as upgrades and deployments of infrastructure.

• Create and manage financial forecasts.

• Reconcile resources along with associated project expenditures.

• Lead ongoing risk management and issue resolution processes.

• Identify and evaluate risks and issues.

• Develop and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with leaders.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT Project Management.

• Previous experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred.

• Proven track record of establishing and delivering complex projects.

• PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

• Strong preference for Agile Project Management and Scrum Certification.

• Demonstrated ability to build robust and positive relationships, earning the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders.

• Capability to lead and inspire teams, set direction, resolve conflicts, communicate challenging messages, and execute plans amid uncertainty.

• Proven effectiveness in navigating a highly matrixed organization.
