Senior IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Serve as a thought leader in project management.

• Manage intricate projects that involve cross-functional teams and matrix partners.

• Oversee projects related to the launch of new products and services, application development, systems integration, enhancements in operational efficiency, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.

• Create and supervise financial forecasts.

• Reconcile resources along with associated project expenses.

• Drive ongoing risk and issues management processes.

• Identify and evaluate risks and issues.

• Develop and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with organizational leaders.

• Explore methods for improving project management capabilities and processes.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT Project Management.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in establishing and delivering complex projects.

• PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

• Strongly preferred certifications in Agile Project Management and Scrum.

• Demonstrated ability to build robust and positive relationships while gaining the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders.

• Capability to lead and inspire teams, set direction and strategy, resolve conflicts, convey challenging messages with professionalism, and execute tasks with limited information and ambiguity.

• Proven proficiency in navigating a highly matrixed organization effectively.

• Emphasis on a Servant Leadership approach.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, listening, and comprehension skills.

• Strong influencing and negotiating abilities.

• Business acumen and technical expertise.

• Experience in managing stakeholders.
