Technical Data Center Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the evaluation, coordination, and integration of MEP system designs with the overall project plans.

• Manage project expenses and formulate schedules.

• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Confirm that work generally aligns with approved drawings and specifications.

• Serve as a liaison between clients, architects, structural engineers, facilities management, and construction teams.

• Supervise MEP contractors and subcontractors.

• Monitor project progress and conduct site inspections.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Prepare construction risk assessments and project status reports.

• Recommend the release of construction funds.

• Adjust project resource requirements and disbursement schedules.

• Review agreements and submitted documents to guarantee timelines are adhered to.

• Integrate electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems through design, installation, procurement, and commissioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship at present or in the future.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, accompanied by 8–10 years of relevant experience.

• In the absence of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be taken into account.

• Experience with MEP infrastructure in mission-critical facilities is essential.

• Strongly desired experience in data center facilities infrastructure.

• Ability to facilitate the exchange of sensitive, complex, and challenging information.

• Proficiency in project management software is required.

• Familiarity with Google Suite is a plus.

• Leadership abilities to inspire the team and enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

• Licensure as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is preferred.

• PMP and/or LEED certification is advantageous.
