SAP Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive planning, execution, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud implementation projects.

• Take ownership of project delivery from the project charter phase through to go-live and hypercare.

• Create and manage integrated project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and schedules.

• Oversee project scope, costs, timelines, governance, financial performance, risks, and issues.

• Manage project governance and documentation utilizing SAP Activate, SAP CALM, and SAP RASD.

• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate resources from third-party vendors.

• Identify, monitor, mitigate, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues.

• Act as the primary liaison for client executive sponsors and steering committees.

• Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.

• Ensure the quality and completeness of deliverables while adhering to internal delivery standards.

• Monitor budgets, provide forecasts, assist with invoicing, and manage profitability.

• Facilitate change management, training, and organizational readiness initiatives.

• Lead project status reporting, updates for steering committees, and reviews of lessons learned post-implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least one required certification: Project Management Professional (PMP), SAP Activate Certification, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM); multiple certifications are preferred.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud certifications are advantageous.

• Minimum of 3 full-lifecycle SAP implementations with experience as a Project Manager.

• Proven experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud; preference for S/4HANA Public Cloud experience.

• Hands-on experience with SAP CALM and SAP RASD in at least one implementation.

• Established experience managing implementation budgets of $1 million or more.

• Experience overseeing the complete project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closure.

• Experience in delivering projects within the SAP Activate methodology.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Ability to work remotely from the United States; preference will be given to candidates residing in Texas.
