This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the Project Lead and main contact for sponsors.
• Responsible for the comprehensive delivery of projects, encompassing quality, timelines, and budget.
• Set and convey customer expectations to the project team.
• Ensure that proper escalation routes are adhered to, both internally and externally.
• Define roles and communication channels for secondary project leads, vendors, or delivery subsets when necessary.
• Maintain financial responsibility by understanding contracts, aligning resources, managing out-of-scope activities, negotiating change orders, and executing timelines.
• Guide the cross-functional project team to achieve or surpass deliverables.
• Facilitate risk identification and issue resolution at the project level using RBQM/RESOLVE.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, standard operating procedures, ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and specific project requirements.
• This position necessitates 3-5+ years of proven REMS (Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategy) Project Management experience within a CRO/Pharma/Biotech setting.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic or vocational qualification is required.
• Prior experience should be comparable to 8+ years.
• Proficiency in technical and systems skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.
• Capability to delegate and prioritize both personal and project team workloads.
• Strong oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude that adapts to shifting priorities and circumstances.
• Advanced knowledge in therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.
• Solid grasp of project management principles (time, quality, cost), along with financial insight.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities, including leadership, motivation, and coordination of cross-functional project teams.
• Sound judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, and analytical strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence others, with an understanding of cross-cultural dynamics.
