Technical D&A Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical success leader and primary project owner for client implementations involving Lumina Connect.

• Develop, implement, and oversee project and implementation plans for various customers.

• Manage project scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, testing, acceptance, and handoff procedures.

• Convert client business needs, reporting, analytics, and AI use cases into technical specifications, data requirements, integration designs, and implementation deliverables.

• Assist clients in navigating data dictionaries, field definitions, business rules, metadata, data lineage, file formats, refresh expectations, and documentation.

• Collaborate with technical implementation teams to set up and verify connectors, data feeds, APIs, exports, permissions, network requirements, and integration components.

• Aid clients in linking RealPage data to data warehouses and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Synapse.

• Conduct or supervise data validation, reconciliation, testing, and acceptance processes.

• Identify data quality concerns, missing information, defects, and integration challenges, then drive their resolution.

• Address customer data, integration, network, permissions, SQL/Postgres, and configuration issues.

• Appropriately escalate issues to Product, Engineering, Support, or other internal teams.

• Offer consultative support, training, and enablement to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Maintain thorough documentation of requirements, decisions, mappings, risks, issues, testing outcomes, client communications, and implementation progress.

• Spot opportunities to enhance implementation strategies, reusable artifacts, connectors, documentation, automation, and cross-functional processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong consultative, project management, and client relationship capabilities.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines concurrently.

• Expertise in data dictionaries, schemas, field definitions, source-to-target mappings, data lineage, refresh cycles, data quality, and reconciliation.

• Proficient knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, data lakes, data warehouses, and data lakehouses.

• Familiarity with data integration patterns, connectors, APIs, file-based feeds, authentication, network permissions, and customer-managed data warehouse environments.

• Working knowledge of SQL and relational data principles, including joins, aggregates, filtering, and core functions.

• Ability to investigate customer data challenges.

• Understanding of data utilization by reporting and analytics platforms, including Power BI and other customer BI tools.

• Familiarity with RealPage solutions is advantageous, including Business Intelligence, Performance Analytics, Lumina Ascent, and BI Exchange.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills suitable for executive-level communication.

• Capability to facilitate discovery sessions, technical workshops, status meetings, testing reviews, and decision-making discussions.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in creating reusable documentation, automated or long-term solutions, implementation standards, and process enhancements.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SharePoint, and collaboration tools such as Teams.

• Capability to operate a personal computer and communicate effectively.

• May be required to lift or move items weighing over 10 pounds.
