Technical Content Creator – Pear, Bare, P2P

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Independently develop functional peer-to-peer applications and infrastructure setups utilizing the Pear platform and Bare runtime.

• Produce clear, captivating, high-quality screen-share walkthroughs and video demonstrations.

• Showcase code functionality, peer discovery, synchronization, and system advantages.

• Convert protocol updates, cryptographic primitives, and technical documentation into visual content for developers.

• Create engaging code-along videos, detailed step-by-step guides, and interactive repositories.

• Collaborate with P2P protocol and product engineering teams on forthcoming Pear and Bare features.

• Quickly prototype peer-to-peer chat, file synchronization, and data-replication applications.

• Exhibit resilient, serverless products constructed with the ecosystem.

• Partner with technical influencers, developer advocates, and content creators.

• Provide technical resources, co-create code-along challenges, and facilitate developer adoption of Pear and Bare.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 6+ years of experience in Technical Content Creation, Solutions Engineering, or Backend/Systems Development.

• Proficiency in NodeJS, C/C++, or comparable programming languages prevalent in the ecosystem.

• Strong understanding of peer-to-peer (P2P) networking.

• Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems.

• Solid grasp of hypercore/append-only-log style data structures.

• In-depth knowledge of decentralized application architecture.

• Experience in recording and editing polished technical screen-shares, terminal recordings, or video tutorials.

• Familiarity with tools such as Loom, Camtasia, or Screenflow.

• Ability to comprehend complex P2P protocols or runtimes and create effective demos or sample projects.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed environment across different global time zones.

• Excellent English communication skills.
