This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Identify and secure new customers while consistently growing the business.
• Analyze sales data along with current market trends and customer requirements.
• Create consultative sales opportunities.
• Oversee sales and profitability for each account.
• Prepare comprehensive account profiles for the organization.
• Cultivate strong, loyal relationships with key decision-makers.
• Employ Pareto analysis to safeguard and enhance top accounts.
• Submit management reports punctually.
• Monitor relevant company KPIs and business strategies.
• Observe competitive activities within significant accounts.
• Utilize CRM systems and maintain sales administration.
• Present sales demonstrations to clients showcasing business and product success and credibility.
• Provide management with pricing details and recommendations.
• Establish and sustain supplier relationships as necessary.
• Develop sales strategies for approval from the sales manager/director.
• Operate independently to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Cover the Northern Region of Canada.
• 5 years of experience in sales related to poultry production.
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.
• Knowledge of poultry technology and contemporary best management practices in Breeder Production, Broiler Production, Ventilation, and Processing.
• Strong experience with breeders is essential.
• Exceptional presentation and computer skills, including proficiency in email, spreadsheets, databases, formal letter writing, and economic modeling.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities, encompassing leadership, personal accountability, time management, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to undertake significant overnight travel.
• A creative, outgoing, and amiable personality.
• Superior communication skills, including the ability to present to all levels of corporate management, proficiency in PowerPoint, written and oral communication, negotiation, meeting facilitation, and social interaction.
