This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and conduct sessions for gathering requirements, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders.
• Convert business requirements into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs), process documentation, and relevant technical artifacts.
• Create current and future state process maps that include business rules, decision points, and workflows across functions.
• Detect gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with both business and technical teams to design, assess, and validate solutions.
• Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders and IT throughout the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Manage initiatives from analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, to post-implementation support.
• Formulate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, prepare test scenarios and cases, coordinate their execution, and ensure traceability of requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and communicate risks, impacts, and dependencies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the systems and processes being supported.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
• Maintain consistent attendance and fulfill other assigned responsibilities.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred in business management, leadership, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in a technology-driven organization that supports enterprise systems and cross-functional initiatives.
• Preferred working knowledge of operations and systems in higher education, such as Student Information Systems (SIS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Proven experience in documenting business processes, business rules, and cross-functional workflows.
• Proficiency in using process mapping and flowcharting tools like Visio or similar platforms.
• Experience in producing well-structured requirements documentation, including BRDs and FSDs.
• Experience in supporting initiatives throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies, encompassing both Waterfall and Agile approaches.
• Familiarity with ticketing and work management systems, such as Jira or comparable platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and the capacity to create and interpret queries.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Understanding of organizational structures, governance, and operational dynamics in complex environments.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and guide stakeholders toward consensus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across various organizational levels.
• Capability to influence without formal authority.
• Exercise independent judgment, personal accountability, and effective decision-making with minimal supervision.
