Technical Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary functional authority for NetSuite, concentrating on modules and workflows that support accounting and finance.

• Set up, test, and implement enhancements, customizations, saved searches, dashboards, and workflows within NetSuite.

• Convert business needs into scalable NetSuite solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.

• Oversee roles, permissions, and audit controls to ensure system integrity.

• Optimize and support accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), financial closing, and financial reporting processes.

• Collaborate with accounting and finance leaders to streamline employee workflows, improve reporting, and elevate accounting results.

• Assess and refine end-to-end service lifecycle processes.

• Conduct sessions to gather requirements with finance and accounting stakeholders.

• Document current-state and future-state processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for automation.

• Create functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.

• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles and assist with go-live activities for new features and system updates.

• Serve as a liaison between business users, IT, and external NetSuite partners.

• Provide continuous support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.

• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to end users.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in a role such as a NetSuite Functional Analyst, Consultant, or Administrator.

• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance along with other NetSuite modules.

• Demonstrated capability to configure NetSuite workflows, saved searches, forms, and dashboards.

• Familiarity with AP and AR automation and workflows.

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.

• Capacity to manage various priorities and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, Administrator, SuiteFoundation) are advantageous.

• Knowledge of SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteBuilder.

• Understanding of integrations between NetSuite and third-party accounting modules.

• Experience in sectors such as Fire and Life Safety, HVAC, utilities, telecom, manufacturing, or equipment services.
