Technical Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Define, manage, and deliver digital product requirements that align with business objectives and enhance operational excellence within the financial sector.

• Maintain a well-organized, prioritized product backlog and roadmap.

• Balance business value, risks, dependencies, and operational limitations.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and evaluate AS-IS processes.

• Specify optimized TO-BE solutions, including process flows, user journeys, data flows, API requirements, and system interactions.

• Foster collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Examine system interactions and integration requirements.

• Document requirements related to APIs, data mappings, and expected request-response flows.

• Work alongside developers and architects on integration efforts.

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, API-related use cases, and test scenarios.

• Collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors.

• Prepare requirement packages and validate the solutions delivered.

• Assist with API and system-integration validation, integration testing, as well as API response and error analysis.

• Support UAT cycles, training initiatives, communication, and the adoption of new capabilities.

• Provide application support, analyze recurring issues, and promote continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership.

• Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise solutions and proficiency in context-switching roles.

• Practical experience with APIs and system integrations.

• Ability to comprehend API documentation, endpoints, request and response structures, authentication methods, error handling, and data mappings.

• Experience translating business needs into functional and integration requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and system interaction diagrams.

• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, or OpenAPI.

• Experience leading discovery activities, defining business processes, and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.

• Strong background in evaluating solution options, third-party integrations, and making recommendations based on value, feasibility, and cost.

• Ability to convert complex business, process, and integration requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.

• Proven experience managing UAT cycles, coordinating stakeholders, and driving adoption across various user groups.

• Strong operational mindset, including support post-deployment, user interaction management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Regular use of AI tools to enhance productivity, automate or minimize repetitive tasks, support decision-making, and achieve higher-quality outcomes.

• Capability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result.
