Technical Assistance Consultant, Healthcare Innovations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify, evaluate, and monitor the technical assistance requirements of program participants.

• Develop plans to meet technical assistance requirements.

• Utilize subject matter expertise or policy interpretation to create technical assistance materials, including memos, tipsheets, factsheets, checklists, templates, policy or review guides, FAQs, and case studies.

• Create, host, or assist in webinars and office hours.

• Craft communications tailored for diverse audiences and formats.

• Record technical assistance workflows and procedures.

• Facilitate discussions with program participants to monitor progress toward milestones, formulate strategies and guidance, and identify common themes.

• Lead meetings and provide presentations to team members and clients.

• Oversee content on an online collaboration platform, including resource libraries and discussion posts.

• Gather and analyze engagement metrics related to program activities and communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 or more years of experience; Master’s Degree with 4 or more years of experience; or a Doctoral Degree.

• Proven experience in designing and executing technical assistance initiatives and resources, such as briefs, guides, toolkits, and webinars for diverse audiences.

• Background in developing communications for newsletters, online collaboration platforms, and public websites.

• Experience in qualitative data gathering and analysis, including online surveys and interviews.

• Ability to translate policy into practical, actionable information for various audiences.

• Experience providing technical assistance for Medicaid programs and/or state Medicaid offices.

• Familiarity with and experience in behavioral health practices and clinicians, including integrated care delivery.

• Understanding of health information technology at the provider level.

• Strong dedication to enhancing instructional quality and student outcomes through research-based practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with stakeholders at various levels and backgrounds.

• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.

• Capability to lead and collaborate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
