This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and take ownership of the complete integration architecture, which includes runtime topology, environment strategy, and deployment models.
• Establish integration standards, reusable frameworks, design patterns, and reference architectures across various delivery teams.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of Boomi integrations, providing hands-on guidance throughout the process.
• Architect integrations between enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Define API strategy and standards, including REST/SOAP design, versioning, and the use of REST Client connectors.
• Design scalable integration workflows and reusable components utilizing REST APIs, message queues, and cloud-based solutions.
• Define approaches for data mapping, transformation, and validation; review implementations for quality and consistency.
• Establish standards for monitoring, alerting, logging, and error-handling; lead root-cause analysis for complex production issues.
• Own the performance, scalability, and capacity planning of the integration platform.
• Define the security architecture for integrations, covering authentication, authorization, secrets management, and data protection.
• Lead assessments of the current state, target-state design, and migration roadmaps to Boomi.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and enterprise architects to translate requirements into integration designs.
• Provide effort estimates, solution options, and level-of-effort inputs for proposals and statements of work.
• Mentor developers; lead design reviews and architecture review boards.
• Manage architecture documentation, including solution design documents, integration catalogs, and API specifications.
• Proficient in English communication skills.
• Over 12 years of experience in enterprise application integration.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in Boomi design and development.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting and delivering large-scale, multi-system Boomi programs.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration environments that utilize hybrid cloud/on-premise systems.
• Proven experience owning integration architecture across multiple workstreams and mentoring both developers and senior developers.
• Experience with code reviews, deployment management, and production support.
• Ability to define integration standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices at the enterprise or program level.
• Experience presenting architectural and solution recommendations to senior client stakeholders, including IT leadership.
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and project managers.
• Experience in integration monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Support production environments with SLA-driven support models.
• Experience in estimating integration efforts and contributing to technical solution design.
• Understanding of platform governance, licensing/connector consumption planning, and total cost of ownership considerations.
• Required consulting or client-facing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Boomi Enterprise Platform.
• Expertise in REST APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to select and justify integration patterns such as batch, real-time, event-driven, pub/sub, and API-led.
• Experience with Boomi Integration, APIM, DataHub/Master Data Hub, Flow, EDI, Event Streams, and AgentStudio.
• Familiarity with integrating systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle ERP/HCM, or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, Basic Authentication, SAML, and API Gateway concepts.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, XML, JSON, CSV, flat files, XSLT, data transformation, and database integrations.
• Familiarity with JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, and AWS SQS/SNS.
• Experience with ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI transaction processing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including networking, identity, and hosting considerations.
• Ability to design scalable, reusable, and maintainable integration frameworks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to lead technical discussions and mentor developers at all levels.
• Ability to produce solution design documents, sequence and data flow diagrams, and interface specifications.
• Boomi certifications are required or strongly preferred; MuleSoft, TOGAF, or other iPaaS/architecture certifications are advantageous.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
