Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic advisor and expert on the Salesforce product and platform for large, complex enterprise clients.

• Function as a trusted consultant for customers.

• Identify and spearhead internal strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the consulting practice.

• Contribute to the community's knowledge base and expertise.

• Assist customers and colleagues in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies that enhance business value.

• Educate on complex concepts while providing innovative and prescriptive insights.

• Recognize and proactively manage risk areas through comprehensive resolution.

• Oversee customer expectations and negotiate solutions for intricate issues with clients and third-party partners.

• Review and refine project/program direction, methodologies, and key deliverables.

• Ensure programs remain on course while solutions are scalable and maintainable.

• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology solutions.

• Contribute to program vision and counsel on project strategies that involve enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform.

• Establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives, senior technology leaders, and key decision-makers.

• Mentor and cultivate technical talent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture or consulting.

• At least 4 years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects.

• Proficient application design skills.

• Strong skills in data, integration, and security architecture.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Capability to quickly learn and implement new concepts, business models, and technologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in communicating with individuals in diverse roles.

• Ability to analyze, design, and enhance business processes through technology and integration.

• Significant experience in integration concepts, designs, and patterns.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred; equivalent demonstrable work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Ability to convey and persuade customers of best practices at various organizational levels.

• Background in application design and development.

• Travel may be necessary based on client requirements.

• A strong background in Enterprise Architecture is advantageous.

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications are preferred.

• Experience in Consumer Goods Cloud, Consumer Goods Retail Execution / Trade Promotion Management, and the Consumer Goods sector is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Agentforce for Developers.

• Understanding the strengths and limitations of AI-powered development tools.

• Experience leading a technical team or workstream.

• Experience in defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform is a significant advantage.
