Java Developer Analyst

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field in Information Technology.

• OR a completed bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with a specialization in Information Technology.

• Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or later), CSD – Certified Scrum Developer, and PSD – Professional Scrum Developer.

• Familiarity with financial systems development.

• Understanding of agile development methodologies and principles, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Awareness of continuous integration, delivery, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.

• Proficiency in configuration and change management using ClearCase, SVN, and Git.

• Ability to analyze and specify functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Knowledge of design patterns and best programming practices.

• Experience in enterprise systems integration.

• Understanding of microservices architecture and development.

• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes development.

• Experience migrating monolithic systems to microservices.

• Skills in relational data modeling.

• Knowledge of layered architectures and MVC.

• Familiarity with responsive interfaces and PWA applications.

• Experience integrating with messaging systems, JMS, web services, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA, and EJB 3.

• Proficiency in Java Swing programming.

• Understanding of continuous integration, TDD, ATDD, specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, ECMAScript 5/6+, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular 5+, Bootstrap 3+, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.

• Awareness of UX and usability principles.

• Familiarity with software testing and test automation.

• Experience with JUnit 3+, Selenium WebDriver 2.4+, and JMeter 2+.

• Development of simulators, mocks, and stubs.

• Java web programming experience with JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity, and Spring.

• Knowledge of JSF, JPA, and Struts.

• Familiarity with JBoss, WebSphere, and Liberty application servers, as well as the Quarkus framework.

• Understanding of multi-tenant application architecture.

• Knowledge of Linux and SonarQube.

• Skills in refactoring web applications and migrating front-end logic to the back end.

• Experience with reverse engineering.

• Understanding of CMT transaction management.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Familiarity with Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.

• MUMPS skills preferred.

• Experience with Caché 2010.2+ databases.

• Knowledge of OpenVMS and/or Linux.

• Preferred knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.

• Delphi 5+ skills.

• Enterprise PowerBuilder skills.

• Experience in development for UNIX-like systems.

• Familiarity with ISO 8583 message routing.

• Proficiency in developing using J/XFS, CWA, and FDI financial technologies, integrating banking peripherals.

• Experience with cryptography.
