Team Leader II, Low Balance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the team in managing inventory and addressing client-specific priorities.

• Assess current inventory levels and ensure that established objectives are achieved.

• Oversee inventory backlog and examine timely filing, aging, and other reports to ensure adherence to client protocols.

• Maintain continuous access to client systems pertinent to account management.

• Evaluate and summarize accounts up to a specified limit for closure in line with client-specific standard operating procedures.

• Guide the team in upholding client-specific protocols and procedures.

• Conduct monthly individual meetings to coach and mentor team members.

• Develop corrective action plans aimed at enhancing performance.

• Perform annual performance evaluations for direct reports.

• Utilize web portals, client systems, and databases to assist team members in resolving accounts.

• Relay questions and concerns to leadership.

• Collect and analyze inventory workflow reports.

• Support management with ad hoc inventory projects and other assigned tasks.

• Participate in the training of new and existing staff and contribute to training materials.

• Escalate complex accounts to management as necessary.

• Prepare responses for client inquiries regarding client accounts on behalf of Client Services.

• Ensure quality assurance through regular account audits.

• Assist with account closures and client-specific initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in roles at Knowtion Health, a hospital, physician practice, payer, RCM vendor, or in customer service.

• Leadership aptitude.

• High degree of professionalism.

• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.

• Compliance with HIPAA standards.

• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational and documentation capabilities.

• Excellent multitasking abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

• Mathematical skills to perform calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Ability to read and understand documents such as contracts, claims, patient medical records, inpatient/outpatient discharge summaries and reports, instructions, policies, and procedures in written (English) and diagram formats.

• Valid government-issued photo ID required for screening and/or interviews.
