This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead and manage the documentation, funding, and booking processes for lease and loan portfolio transactions.
• Oversee the multi-stage process required for closing and funding intricate middle market and large-ticket lease transactions.
• Handle pre-funding administration, including the creation and review of documentation.
• Negotiate complex transactions in collaboration with the Sales Team.
• Coordinate approvals for non-standard transactions to ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard the bank's interests.
• Ensure the precise and timely booking and funding of transactions.
• Supervise documentation negotiations with third-party sources and investors for purchased or sold transactions.
• Monitor and follow up on documentation exceptions.
• Oversee the preparation of transaction documentation and verify the system's handling of transaction structures.
• Assist the Sales Team in documentation negotiations and complete documentation packages.
• Submit negotiated documentation for legal, accounting, and tax review as necessary.
• Coordinate the verification of pricing, special credit requirements, residual positions, and return provisions.
• Supervise the funding and booking process, ensuring accurate data entry into the system.
• Coordinate the receipt of transaction and sale/assignment documentation from indirect sources.
• Collaborate with Syndications investors to ensure that transactions are documented accurately and thoroughly, facilitating transaction sales.
• Provide timely, honest, and constructive performance feedback; develop employees; build talent pools; support succession planning; and recognize and reward achievements.
• Manage risk by identifying, assessing, monitoring, managing, and reporting risks while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
• More than 10 years of relevant work experience in the leasing industry.
• 2-5 years of Direct Doc Team Lead experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Access.
• Experience with InfoLease is preferred.
• A legal background is an advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a focus on business or finance is preferred.
• Strong orientation towards customer service.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Understanding of various lease structures and the corresponding complex documentation.
