This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee and direct the daily operations of the Sales Development team.
• Ensure exceptional performance, consistent implementation, and alignment with the company's goals.
• Recruit, train, guide, and mentor Business Development Representatives.
• Enhance team members’ skills in prospecting, communication, and lead qualification.
• Evaluate and refine Sales Development processes, implementing industry best practices.
• Establish and track team KPIs for lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline contributions.
• Analyze trends, identify bottlenecks, and boost team productivity.
• Train BDRs on tools, processes, strategies, product features, industry trends, and sales techniques.
• Ensure proper documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and lead data in Salesforce.
• Create and maintain reporting dashboards.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and other stakeholders on go-to-market initiatives.
• Guarantee a seamless lead transition between BDRs and Account Executives.
• Develop personalized career development plans for BDRs.
• Formulate prospecting and territory strategies while identifying emerging market opportunities.
• Report directly to the Manager - Sales Development.
• 7-10 years of experience in Sales Development, particularly within SaaS or B2B technology sales.
• Demonstrated success in Sales Development and a solid understanding of the sales development lifecycle.
• Proven experience in leading a high-performing team of SDRs/BDRs.
• Experience in selling complex, technology-based solutions and managing lengthy sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Minimum of 2+ years managing junior Sales Development Representatives or Business Development Representatives.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach or SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and data enrichment tools.
• Strong grasp of lead generation, data cleansing, and prospecting best practices.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot obstacles, and implement process improvements.
• Capability to leverage data for decision-making, evaluate team performance, and enhance strategies.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Highly driven and results-oriented.
