This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a robust pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers within health plans, providers, and other healthcare entities.
• Implement high-volume outbound prospecting utilizing phone, email, LinkedIn, and additional channels.
• Follow up on incoming leads generated from webinars, events, content downloads, and marketing initiatives.
• Conduct research on target organizations and contacts to evaluate their business models, member demographics, and compatibility with mPulse solutions.
• Customize outreach efforts based on specific campaigns and the roles of prospects.
• Perform initial discovery to uncover prospect needs and challenges, documenting insights in Salesforce.
• Qualify opportunities and arrange introductory meetings, demonstrations, or discovery calls with Account Executives.
• Keep precise records of activities, contacts, and opportunities in the CRM and associated sales tools.
• Collaborate with Marketing on follow-up strategies, messaging, and enhancements to targeting.
• Work closely with Sales leadership to prioritize territories, account lists, and target personas.
• Engage in coaching, training, and role-playing sessions.
• Achieve and surpass targets for activities, meetings scheduled, and qualified opportunities generated.
• Represent mPulse in a professional and consultative manner with prospects, partners, and internal team members.
• Report directly to the Senior Business Development Operations Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to clearly convey value propositions and customize messages for diverse audiences.
• Comfortable placing outbound calls and engaging in early-stage sales discussions with senior executives at health plans and provider organizations.
• High level of proficiency or a strong aptitude for mastering sales tools and platforms, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Gong Engage), and LinkedIn.
• Proven ability to effectively manage time, prioritize various tasks, and thrive in a metric-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and problem-solving capabilities, along with a growth mindset and receptiveness to feedback.
• Ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to meet shared pipeline and revenue objectives.
• Proven professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to documenting activities and subsequent steps.
• 1+ year of experience in a sales, business development, customer success, or similar customer-facing role; internships or equivalent experiences will be considered.
• Experience within B2B sales or marketing departments; prior exposure to SaaS or technology solutions is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Previous experience as an SDR/BDR in a SaaS or healthcare organization is preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare markets and concepts such as member engagement, quality measures, or CAHPS/HEDIS is preferred.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline generation targets is preferred.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended durations.
• Capability to lift weights of up to 10 lbs.
• Opportunity to travel up to 5% of the time for team meetings, training sessions, or industry events.
