Team Lead – Project Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a team of Project Managers.

• Supervise the delivery of project management services on significant projects and programs.

• Ensure excellence in service, promote the ongoing growth of project management offerings, engage clients, and enhance market outreach.

• Provide strategic direction across corporate real estate, workplace transformation, branch and office developments, operational infrastructure, technology-driven environments, and critical business capital initiatives.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of intricate programs that support organizational growth, operational excellence, customer experience, and digital transformation.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance project performance, strengthen client relationships, and encourage multidisciplinary cooperation.

• Ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives.

• Support innovation, sustainability, risk management, and the creation of long-term value.

• Contribute to business development and advocate for best-in-class project management practices.

• Mentor and develop project management talent, expanding the company’s footprint in financial services and corporate real estate.

• Lead client communications and supervise project management team services.

• Research construction market conditions and analyze published official data.

• Produce thought leadership reports on the construction market.

• Strategically and operationally manage project management services, including resource planning, financial management, business generation, and training and development.

• Establish team strategy and ambitions aligned with the Business Plan.

• Foster a culture of learning, respect, inclusivity, and a unified business approach.

• Maintain knowledge management databases and disseminate commission learning.

• Identify and implement process enhancements.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and participate in ISO audits.

• Develop priority plans, risk mitigation strategies, KPIs, appraisal documents, management controls, and critical success factors.

• Conduct internal BMS audits and coordinate or represent the office during external certification audits.

• Enhance market understanding, act as a brand ambassador, and create an opportunity pipeline.

• Identify opportunities for cross-selling.

• Participate in senior leadership meetings and prepare as well as deliver presentations.

• Monitor revenue, margins, monthly fees, and resource requirements using internal software.

• Prepare proposals and responses to RFPs.

• Attend networking and promotional events.

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract talent and plan staffing requirements.

• Adhere to relevant SOX controls.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience in construction project management.

• More than 2 years of experience managing large, high-performing multidisciplinary teams within a consulting environment.

• Demonstrated success in managing the delivery of project management services for clients.

• Strong business development ambition and acumen, with proven experience in driving business growth.

• Experience in the major construction sector with high-profile clients in commercial real estate, data centers, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources, or similar sectors.

• Exceptional presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

• A graduate degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is preferred.

• Ability to comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.
