📋 Description

• Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for trade, channel, and patient assistance regarding Orca Bio products, which includes overseeing TREGZI’s distribution network.

• Act as the main point of contact for the relationship with the 3PL, managing operational interactions and resolving issues.

• Complete and maintain the 3PL Business Requirements Document, ensuring that distribution processes align with the approved requirements.

• Take ownership of the entire distribution model design, which encompasses title flow, order intake, delivery, return/replacement handling, and reconciliation.

• Establish and uphold state licensing requirements.

• Create, maintain, and supervise SOPs and governance processes related to returns, credits, chargebacks, and trade policies.

• Collaborate with the Finance team on data reporting, customer payments, orders, credits, reinvoicing, and chargebacks.

• Manage policies and processes related to credits and cancellations.

• Oversee the performance and compliance of the 3PL.

• Lead the strategy for the specialty pharmacy channel and activate operational pathways for specialty pharmacies.

• Manage relationships with specialty pharmacies through contracting and implementation.

• Finalize comprehensive specialty pharmacy process flows and ordering in coordination with Product Supply, Finance, and Market Access.

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with specialty pharmacy agreements.

• Monitor the performance of specialty pharmacies against service-level agreements and KPIs.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and analyze data to recognize trends.

• Develop and uphold compliant policies for the patient assistance program.

• Collaborate with the patient assistance program hub regarding travel, lodging, and other operational aspects of the patient assistance program.

• Partner with Finance on government price reporting, gross-to-net calculations, and revenue recognition.

• Work together with Legal and Compliance on trade agreements, channel practices, policies, laws, and regulations.

• Coordinate with Technical Operations and Supply Chain on ordering, manufacturing slot allocation, cold-chain logistics, and delivery.

• Assist in executing Authorized Treatment Center agreements that involve distribution, ordering, credit, and cancellation terms.

• Provide insights on trade and distribution for pricing changes and downstream channel coordination.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA or related) is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech trade, channel, distribution, or specialty operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within trade or distribution.

• Direct experience in managing relationships and contracts with 3PL and/or specialty pharmacies is essential.

• Experience with cell and gene therapy, transplant, or other cold-chain/limited-distribution products is highly preferred, along with knowledge of chain-of-identity and chain-of-custody requirements.

• A strong understanding of U.S. distribution economics, government channels (340B, VA), government price reporting, and gross-to-net mechanics is necessary.

• Experience in supporting a product launch is strongly preferred.

• Proven ability to build and operate a distribution model from scratch and manage external partners to achieve operational goals.

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technical Operations, and field teams.

• Strong contract negotiation abilities and cross-functional leadership experience.

• Experience in the U.S. healthcare marketplace is required.

• Travel is necessary for this position (up to 30%).
