Team Lead Operations – Germany

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overseeing import partners and third-party logistics (3PLs), ensuring their effectiveness

• Tracking operational KPIs such as lead times, error rates, and inventory management

• Managing shipping carriers like DHL and Post AT across all markets

• Executing operations and conducting tenders along with price negotiations with carriers

• Taking responsibility for the logistics cost ratio as a key performance indicator (KPI)

• Managing budgets for imports and customer service

• Providing transparent reporting of cost drivers to executive management

• Coordinating the customer service team to ensure modern service delivery and high customer satisfaction

• Ensuring efficient order flows and EDI integrations with trading partners

• Identifying and implementing automation opportunities, preferably using n8n or Make

• Leading and nurturing the team

• Focusing on continuous process improvement

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain, preferably in e-commerce/D2C

• Initial leadership experience or a clear readiness to advance to the next level

• Proven experience with budget management and cost-related KPIs

• Proficient use of ERP systems, ideally Weclapp

• Familiarity with Shopify or similar platforms

• Strong skills in Excel/Sheets

• A hands-on, structured approach with a strong sense of ownership

• Excellent proficiency in German and good command of English

• Plus: Experience in B2B/EDI

• Plus: Interest in automation tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier

• Plus: Experience in cross-border e-commerce (DACH + Southern Europe/Benelux)

• Plus: Background in a customer service setting
