This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform assessments of foundation readiness by legal entity or country, focusing on data quality, chart-of-accounts mapping, trial balance structure, and identifying gaps in source systems.
• Engage in the hands-on cleanup and normalization of statutory source data, which includes COA mapping, TB tagging, and aligning master data.
• Create documentation for current-state process maps and standard operating procedures for statutory filing production and Stat-to-GAAP reconciliation.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities for standardization through an effort-versus-impact analysis.
• Collaborate with regional statutory teams to collect requirements, verify data readiness, and address any entity-specific complexities.
• Convert readiness insights and standardized templates into automation-ready specifications for AI/ML and automation developers.
• Monitor readiness KPIs and communicate progress and obstacles to CoE leadership and the Steering Committee.
• Assist in piloting and scaling AI-enhanced financial statement production and automated S2G adjustments by ensuring the availability of clean, standardized inputs.
• Must be a member of the ELEC Statutory reporting teams.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in statutory reporting, controllership, or finance transformation, with specific experience in ELEC statutory reporting.
• Proficient data analysis skills (advanced Excel is a must; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage).
• Extensive experience and knowledge in Electrification statutory processes.
• Experience in multi-country/multi-entity finance operations.
• Proven ability to document processes and standard work (process mapping or VSM experience is preferred).
• Comfortable operating at the intersection of controllership/statutory teams and the technical/automation team, with the ability to translate statutory process insights into clear requirements for AI/RPA specialists without needing to write code.
• Previous exposure to GE Vernova (or similar) statutory processes, Oracle FCC, or comparable consolidation/ERP systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with RPA or AI concepts sufficient to translate business needs into technical specifications is preferred.
• Prior experience in coding or scripting, such as Python, VBA, Power BI/DAX, Alteryx, UiPath, or similar RPA tools, along with a basic understanding of AI agent workflows is preferred.
