Analyst, Warehousing & Logistics Operations Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute operations related to CS&L and consistently apply CS&L policies at external manufacturing locations.

• Implement and ensure compliance with Mondelēz International policies at external manufacturing sites.

• Oversee the logistics for inbound and outbound raw materials and packaging materials.

• Plan the dispatch of finished goods and guarantee on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery.

• Optimize transportation routes, maximize vehicle utilization, and manage freight costs, warehouse space, and handling expenses.

• Collaborate with plants, warehouses, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams.

• Ensure supply continuity during breakdowns, capacity limitations, and emergencies.

• Manage inventory for raw materials, packaging materials, work in progress, and finished goods; enhance inventory turnover and minimize aging or obsolete stock.

• Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO standards, proper storage practices, material traceability, and the use of slow-moving or near-expiry materials prior to expiration.

• Handle damaged-material insurance claims, disposal, write-off requests, SAP write-offs, and related approvals.

• Transform rolling forecasts into daily, weekly, and monthly production and dispatch plans.

• Align monthly production plans with the PS team and generate weekly SAP process orders for CTS reporting.

• Balance capacity, material availability, workforce, and customer needs.

• Coordinate new product development (NPD) and project activities with plants, Planning, Procurement, Quality, PCM, and EM teams.

• Initiate cost-saving projects to lower warehouse, freight, waste, energy, and conversion costs.

• Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization.

• Lead warehouse and logistics teams; enhance capabilities through training and coaching.

• Foster a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

• Manage contractors and third-party logistics providers.

• Assist with updates and implementation of O9 and S4 HANA master data.

• Support NPD and capacity expansion projects and engage in project meetings.

• Conduct process, GMP, and internal audits; assess root-cause analyses and monitor compliance with corrective actions.

• Ensure change-management controls during transitions at contract manufacturing sites.

• Create and amend Bills of Materials (BOMs), validate invoices, process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), generate Purchase Orders (POs), schedule raw materials/packaging materials, and reconcile production against billing.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience or knowledge in CS&L operations, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, and production planning.

• Ability to manage logistics for inbound and outbound raw materials and packaging materials.

• Capability to plan finished goods dispatches and ensure OTIF delivery.

• Familiarity with transportation route optimization, vehicle utilization, and freight cost management.

• Ability to collaborate with plants, warehouses, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams.

• Skill in managing supply continuity during breakdowns, capacity constraints, or emergencies.

• Knowledge of raw materials, packaging materials, work in progress, and finished goods inventory control.

• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO practices, proper storage, and material traceability.

• Ability to balance capacity, material availability, workforce, and customer priorities.

• Proficiency in driving cost-saving, automation, and digitalization initiatives.

• Experience in people leadership, team training, coaching, and managing contractors/third-party logistics partners.

• Knowledge of O9 and S4 HANA master data updating and implementation.

• Familiarity with SAP process order creation and CTS reporting.

• Ability to conduct process, GMP, and internal audits and ensure compliance with corrective actions.

• Understanding of change management at contract manufacturing sites.

• Capability to correct BOMs and create new BOMs according to specifications or recipes.

• Experience with invoice verification, GRN processing, purchase order creation, Coupa, and MDIB chatbot.

• Ability to perform reconciliation of production versus billing.

• Skill in interpreting and implementing Mondelēz standards, policies, legislative compliance requirements, and FSSI regulations.
