This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +3 more countries.
• Collaborate with clients and internal study teams to evaluate scoring requirements, intended score usage, study-specific needs, timelines, data flows, and delivery limitations.
• Assess scoring methodologies and delivery alternatives, providing guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on the best approach.
• Act as the primary client-facing contact throughout the scoring delivery process.
• Oversee the operational execution of COA scoring implementations from confirmed requests through to requirements gathering, test dataset development, algorithm implementation, validation, quality assurance, release, and client hand-off.
• Manage a systematic, multi-stage scoring pipeline with various instruments and studies advancing concurrently.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks.
• Deliver status reports, delivery projections, risk assessments, and recovery strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with scientific and technical teams to establish AI-driven and automated workflows across scoring requirements, test dataset creation, algorithm integration, and release documentation.
• A degree in Life Sciences, Business, Operations, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in consulting, project delivery, program operations, product operations, clinical or data operations, scientific operations, or a similar process-oriented environment.
• Capability to evaluate both internal and external customer needs, structure intricate problems, and convert requirements into actionable delivery strategies.
• Proven experience in fostering trusted client relationships, providing advice, and managing client expectations throughout the delivery process.
• Experience in overseeing structured, multi-stage production pipelines with regular transitions and multiple items progressing at the same time.
• Strong project management, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate technical or scientific factors and delivery status and risks to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Keen attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices.
• Experience in regulated, validated, audit-sensitive, or quality-controlled environments.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while collaborating with global teams.
• Fluency in English.
• Familiarity with Clinical Outcome Assessments, patient-reported outcomes, scoring algorithms, or instrument implementation is beneficial.
• Knowledge of statistical programming or data workflows utilizing SAS, R, APIs, or structured test datasets is advantageous.
• Experience in developing or enhancing SOPs, templates, checklists, workflow controls, or other standardized operational processes.
• Previous experience using AI tools and automation in work processes is preferred but not mandatory.
