Team Lead, Collections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the collection of all leasing and third-party bill-to-customer cards

• Monitor, distribute, and assess all auditor samples and selections

• Gather all receivables owed to the Company

• Formulate effective collection strategies in collaboration with management and consistently enhance the collection process

• Guide and mentor Accounts Receivable analysts

• Review policy and procedure documents to ensure they remain up-to-date

• Reach out to delinquent customers based on the monthly aging report

• Oversee 3-5 Collectors who report directly to this position

• Address collection issues with both internal and external customers promptly

• Assess risk factors and take suitable actions

• Compile reports by gathering and summarizing account information and trends

• Analyze delinquent accounts and produce reports on high-risk accounts with resolution recommendations

• Supervise, coach, and train staff, including conducting performance evaluations and ensuring adherence to department policies and procedures

• Interact with customers and vendors through phone, email, fax, or traditional mail

• Carry out other assigned duties

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, or a related field required

• A minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounts receivable

• Proven experience achieving collections goals while maintaining robust customer relationships

• Strong proficiency in written, verbal, and reading communication skills

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience with ERP systems is required

• Experience with Great Plains is preferred

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
