Team Lead, Collections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the collection of all leasing and third-party bill-to-customer cards.

• Monitor, distribute, and evaluate Auditor samples and selections.

• Gather all receivables owed to the Company.

• Create effective collection strategies alongside management and continuously enhance the collection process.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to Accounts Receivable analysts.

• Review policy and procedure documents to ensure they remain up to date.

• Reach out to delinquent customers based on the monthly aging reports.

• Supervise 3-5 Collectors who report directly to this role.

• Address internal and external customer collection issues promptly.

• Assess risk factors and take necessary actions.

• Generate reports by collecting and summarizing account information and trends.

• Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare reports on the highest-risk accounts with recommendations for resolution.

• Oversee, coach, and train staff, which includes conducting performance evaluations and ensuring adherence to department policies and procedures.

• Execute other tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, or a related field required.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in accounts receivable.

• Proven experience achieving collections goals while maintaining robust customer relationships.

• Strong written, oral, and reading communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with ERP systems is required.

• Great Plains experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to communicate with customers and vendors via phone, email, fax, or traditional mail.

• Understanding of federal regulations.
