Team Lead, Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the BI layer and guide the transition from conventional dashboard reporting to proactive, AI-driven analytics.

• Collaborate with GTM, RevOps, Finance, and Operations to derive insights on ARR, pipeline performance, unit economics, and customer retention.

• Revamp the BI operational model from a reactive dashboard approach to a structured, forward-thinking business partnership.

• Manage business definitions and KPI governance, creating a unified source of truth for executive leadership and Board decision-making.

• Develop an AI layer from the ground up for automated insight generation, anomaly detection, and self-service analytics.

• Mentor and train a team of 3 BI Analysts.

• Work alongside a dedicated Programme Manager to implement the analytics roadmap.

• Evaluate current reporting utilization, trust issues, and team capabilities during the initial six months.

• Establish an operational structure and reposition the team as analytical partners.

• Enhance the method by which insights are communicated to stakeholders and outline the agenda for future analytics initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience managing a BI function and transforming data utilization within a business.

• Proven track record of integrating AI-driven workflows into a BI function at scale, including automation, insight generation, and self-service capabilities.

• Expertise in defining and governing KPIs while establishing a single source of truth for a complex, multi-market business.

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps teams.

• Capacity to review analytical logic, question assumptions, and identify errors without daily SQL writing.

• Leadership experience in developing staff and building trust with executives.

• Prior experience in delivering a BI transformation; this role requires someone who has previously undertaken similar initiatives.

• Ability to work remotely with occasional travel as required.
