Associate Faculty – Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Provide tailored learning and coaching experiences for students.

• Assist students in their learning across designated courses.

• Conduct classes in alignment with specified learning outcomes and syllabi.

• Oversee classroom behavior and ensure academic participation.

• Collaborate with the Assistant/Program Chair and Student Advising to resolve student issues.

• Assess student performance through course deliverables and established rubrics.

• Enter interim grades in the Blackboard Grade Center.

• Record final grades in WebReg and the Blackboard Grade Center when necessary.

• Engage in discussion boards, class conversations, and chat sessions.

• Timely submission of grades for assignments, discussion boards, exams, and course completions.

• Attend and organize end-of-class "close the loop" meetings with the APM as required.

• Maintain expertise in data mining, data management, business performance management, dashboards, business intelligence tools, decision support, and intelligent systems.

• Comply with university policies, procedures, protocols, best practices, and relevant laws.

⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant terminal degree is mandatory.

• A directly related doctoral-level degree is essential.

• Extensive experience in the field of instruction is required.

• Official college transcripts must be submitted to Associate Experience/Human Resources for employment eligibility.

• Capability to instruct students online utilizing Blackboard.

• Proficiency in computer and systems usage is necessary.

• Desired skills include proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, R, and Power BI.

• Ability to adapt to an evolving and dynamic work environment.

• Strong integrity and work ethic are essential.

• Exceptional relationship-building skills with students or colleagues.
